At Lenox Ed, we write the curriculum fresh each semester and mold it to fit students' needs within the classroom. Rather than pushing through a ready-made curriculum, we test each student before enrollment, so we know we can curate lessons and resources that focus on weaknesses to make them strengths. This is important to note because we don't want to teach what the students already know. We want them to grow, so they need instruction and correction only on weaknesses. The curriculum is based on the Common Core, so students are prepared for end-of-year testing. We are the only tutoring center in the area that builds a new curriculum each semester, informed by cognitive science, specifically cognitive psychology (how the brain receives, processes, and retains information), and based on particular student needs within a class. We take this extra effort to ensure your child learns as much as they can in the shortest amount of time possible, when they do their work. Students who bring homework receive one-on-one feedback from the teacher. To get this level of instruction, most tutoring centers require you to take private lessons. However, Lenox Ed offers individualized curriculum and personal, live feedback.
